Major Brand Coupon Web Site

Wednesday, August 23rd, 2006

I came a great coupon web site for just about every online retailer that you can think of. The site is couponchief.com.

I have been looking around for a 19″ LCD monitor and had found one for a good price at buy.com for a Samsung that is almost exactly like the one that I have at work.

I was waiting to get some more extra cash before buying it but now my wait is over.

I went to the buy.com section of their site and found a coupon that will give me an additional discount off the already low price that I found.

Sweet!

I will finally be able to get rid of the huge 21″ CRT monitor that is over taking my desk.

Compare Prices on eBay Against Online Stores

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2006

This is great tool to get the best price whether it is on eBay or an online retailer.

I download the price comparison tool and installed it to see what kind of deals I could find. Specifically I have been looking for a 1GB Memory Stick for my Sony camera.

As soon as I opened the program I searched for “Memory Stick Pro” and was presented with over two thousand results for my search. The first result on the list was a 2GB memory stick for $15 less then I had found a similar 1GB stick.

I was immediately interested so I checked out more.

I ended up finding a brand name 2GB Memory Stick for $20 less then what I had found a 1GB Stick.

This is definitely a tool that will stay on my computer and be used on a regular basis.

Sexy Lingerie Makes Husbands Happy

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2006

I was reading my wife’s blog this morning and work and came across her post - My Goal; Leather Lingerie - and decided to check out what she had set out to buy once she met her weight loss goal. While the leather is cool I am sure that an guy would agree that any sexy lingerie is nice to see on his wife.

I checked the site out and did not get past the first page because I found this lingerie that I though was quite nice ;-) . I wouldn’t mind seeing my wife in that.

I am really looking forward to my wife meeting her goals and getting that leather in the mail.

Office Ninja Stars

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2006

OK, I am all in to making weapons to shoot at my fellow co-workers but I think that this is pushing it a little.

This person put up instructions on how to make a Ninja throwing star out of Exacto blades.

This reminds me of the South Park episode when the kinds are pretending to me Anime cartoon characters and Cartman throws his Ninja star and sticks Butters in the eye. I could totally see someone doing that in a office and it being all over the internet.

I think their are somethings people should not be shown how to do.

The Ramp Up to Football Season

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2006

The regular season for football is just around the corner.

I really did not get to watch last season because of the move to Texas and the new baby. But this year you know that it is going to be Monday night football every Monday and as many games on the weekend as possible.

The cool thing about this season is that I will have the complete College and NFL Football Schedule for free via Doc’s Sports. This baby has all of the college and Pro games from preseason to the Super Bowl. With that I won’t miss a single Longhorns or Panthers game.

The best part about it is that usually they charge $9 for the season guide but this year they are giving it away for free (I had to pay shipping). It’s a good deal if you ask me.

Any I hope the wife realizes where I am spending my Mondays and the better part of the weekend for the next 6 months or so.

Christian Family Blog - My Blog about Raising My Family as Christians

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2006

I usually do not plug my Christian Blog about my family very often because I do not think that people usually appreciate having religious views thrust upon them.

To me this case is a little different though.

Me, being a Christian, I want my kids to grow up a be product members of society. In order for them to do that I need to be that. For my I have gotten the most direction from the Christian Church.

I grew up as a Catholic but as a Catholic God seemed so far away. He seemed like he was up in heaven and we were way, way down here. Only the “called ones” ever got to talk to him and only a fraction of those ever heard from God. Also, the only way to get to heaven was to be a really good person and then MAYBE you would get in.

As a Christian I was taught that God is here - he is everywhere. Then if you believe that Jesus died on the cross for you sins, and you accept that sacrifice, then God lives in you and you go to heaven. There are no rules that you “need to follow” but that if you are really saved from hell that you are thankful and that makes you want to be a good person.

That is where I am at.

MXZ Pocket Saw - The Size of a Knife but the Power of a Saw in Your Pocket

Saturday, August 19th, 2006

MXZ Pocket Saw - There seems to be a lot of people searching for this ever since the ads on TV came out.

I mean the MXZ saw is pretty amazing with the fact that it can cut through a cinder block -how cool is that.

Anyway, I did a search for “MXZ Pocket Saw” and the best price that I found was $14.95 from this company.

I will definitely be picking up one of this to keep in my pocket when I am working in the yard.

Man of the Year - Robin Williams as John Stewart

Friday, August 18th, 2006

This is too funny.

This is a trailer of a new movie that is coming where Robin Williams plays John Stewart.

In the movie “John” runs for president, is his usual politically incorrect self, and wins the presidency.

Classic!
