About to Break $100 on Google Adsense
Wow, it has only taken me 5 months to reach this point but I am about to make my first $100 from Google Adsense.
That’s right, back in July of this year I started putting the goofy little code in my site to try to make “Big Bucks”. I found out like most that it is easier said then done.
The last couple of months have been the ones that have really gotten me to this point as my traffic has really increased during that time. It is well know that the more traffic you have the more clicks you will get on your Adsense ads.
There was one point where I took all the Adsense off of my sites just because it was so tacky. But I had left it in a couple of places that started getting clicks and I did not want to give that money back to Google or the advertiser.
The coolest thing is that Adsense is almost bringing in enough money to pay for my reseller hosting account. It is really cool when your habits actually make you money as opposed to costing you money.
Anyway, Adsense is that little bugger that sits in the background just clicking away and making money. I will be happy next money to get my first check from them.

Congrats Dan, that is a great feeling. I used to check my adsense every day.. sigh… now I just use an adsense extension for firefox though and I watch it. th $.02 days are tough, but he $15 days do make up for it.

Congratulations Dan. I hope you made it to the magical $100 payout mark - you’d be amazed how many people don’t get that far. I don’t see AdSense on this page, but looking at the page source I see mention of AdSense in the HTML code - I hope this doesn’t mean that you got banned before you got your cash.

No I’m not banned - I just forget to put it on pages. Usually I go back about every month or so and add it back in.
